2025 ACJV update # 14, Services in December and January

Hi everyone,

I trust you all had a wonderful Christmas and Boxing day! Sara and I really enjoyed seeing so many of you at our Christmas services. We especially enjoyed singing out the old carols with so much joy. Our family had a very relaxing trip out to White's Bay after lunch on Christmas day.

Here's what coming up for the Joint Venture church:

Sunday December 28th:

Epiphany, Seddon, 10 am Lord's Day worship.

Sunday January 4th:

Ward, 8 am Sunday worship (Miriam Taylor leading)

Seddon 10 am Sunday worship (Carl Pilkinton)

We are delighted to welcome Carl and Sharlene Pilkinton back to the Awatere. Carl and Sharlene have served as missionaries to the Fulani people in Africa, Carl also served as the pastor of Wainui Beach Vineyard church in Gisborne and is now a lecturer at EastWest School of Intercultural Studies situated in Gordonton.

Carl will lead services in Seddon on January 4th, 11th, and 18th.

Sara and I will be on holiday for the first three weeks in January. Please contact Helen or Rob regarding any urgent pastoral matters.
