2025 ACJV update # 12

Hi everyone,

Sara and I had a good trip to Christchurch and Te Awamutu last week to catch up with family. 

We're already thinking about Christmas! Sara, Raylene and Nastassia are preparing for a Kids Christmas Choir. The choir will help us sing carols, pray and hear scripture at our service on Sunday December 14th at Seddon. If your kids or grandkids want to be involved please contact Raylene, 02108916356. This term, the kids choir will be  practicing on Sunday mornings at Epiphany. 

Term 4 Bible Study. Our term 4 Bible Study will start on Tuesday next week, 7 pm at Rob's place on Marama Rd. 

This Sunday, we will return to our series on Exodus. This series has taught me so much about who God is, and the links between the Old Testament and the New Testament.

We have farewelled the RSE winter crews back home. I have been so encouraged by the Christianity Explored and Discipleship Explored Bible studies we had this winter. Every season brings a mix of old friends and new faces to Seddon, so please pray that we make good contacts in the next few months and are able to support seasonal workers with friendship and spiritual encouragement.

And finally, a reminder that services at Ward have returned to 8 am on the first Sunday of the month.
